Why gamers fight each other to know which is better between playstation or xbox?

Is it fair to argue about which platform is best? up would be if it were something very, different or superior, like nintendo that still did not get close to the playstation and xbox. But we are talking about 2 mega video games, the only difference is some detail idiot in the graphics, that sometimes the red is more alive than the other in different platform, and many begin to make comparison on the internet.

This makes many people come to offend each other on the internet, saying that such a platform is better or superior at the cost of nothing, just defend that your like, or your choice of platform.

Can we say that this is common? even because people fight for everything offends by everything, in almost everything has fanatical people, from a simple headset, or a cell phone from another company.

for those who do not know video game is in the category that moves the most money, and more and more people are becoming a fanatic in games, and do with what they stop arguing about it will be increasingly difficult, what companies do while to this, is simply shut up and say nothing. so as not to further fuel the fans.
